> The current polar meteorological exploration in China

China polar scientific expedition is under the centralized management of the state oceanic administration. The polar expedition office under the state oceanic administration is responsible for daily operations, and the China polar research center is responsible for logistics support.

Under the leadership and great attention of the China meteorological administration and the Chinese academy of atmospheric sciences, our institute is one of the main units of China's polar scientific investigation and research, responsible for polar meteorological observation and scientific research projects investigation and research. By 2014, China had organized and participated in 31 expeditions to the Antarctic, 6 expeditions to the arctic and 10 expeditions to the Yellow River station in the arctic. Our institute has participated in all previous scientific expeditions to the north and south poles. At present, about 200 meteorological personnel have been selected from national meteorological departments to participate in summer and winter surveys.

In 1984, China meteorological administration organized and China national academy of sciences to build the first weather station outside China -- China Great Wall weather station. In February 1989, the South Pole zhongshan station meteorological station was established in the southeastern polar continent, and the institute of meteorology was in charge of meteorological observation. With the support of the China meteorological administration (cma) and the state oceanic administration (soa), China has steadily advanced and improved the atmospheric and environmental observation systems at two stations from the seventh five-year plan to the twelfth five-year plan, reaching the level of international Antarctic obse

In 1993, the Brewer ozone spectrometer was installed at zhongshan station, which started the observation of total atmospheric ozone and ultraviolet radiation. In 2009, the Brewer ozone spectrometer was updated at a cost of 2 million yuan, which has been working since then.

In July 2004, China established the Yellow River station, the first of its kind in the arctic, at new orsong in the svalbard islands, and the Chinese academy of meteorological sciences established the arctic meteorological observation system.

From 2002 to 2005, China's Antarctic research team installed three sets of automatic weather stations at the zhongshan station and the DOME -a station of the Antarctic ice sheet, with the lowest temperature of -82 degrees observed. Online atmospheric background measurements of greenhouse gases, 2010 added a set of attenuated cavity laser spectroscopy (CRDS) online greenhouse gas measurement system.

In 2010, China's Antarctic research team installed an automatic weather station around the taishan station, which was jointly developed by the Chinese academy of sciences and other institutions. A temperature of -60 degrees has been observed.

In 2012 and 2013, China's Antarctic research team installed an automatic weather station at the Victoria station in the Ross sea, which was jointly developed by the Chinese academy of sciences and other institutions. It provides support for China to establish a new expedition in the Antarctic.

Since the "85" plan, it has undertaken and presided over a number of national and ministerial-level research projects. He has published more than 200 academic papers, including more than 50 SCI papers, one national award, six provincial awards, seven data reports and eight monographs. Achieved 2-3 equal merits 5 person-times.

Since 2010, he has undertaken 11 national projects and published more than 70 papers, including 22 SCI papers, 2 books and 2 authorized patents.
